nbmecalc

A dependency-free R package for deterministic, offline educational practice-assessment conversion and uncertainty-aware aggregation.

The example below converts a comprehensive NBME input. For the current interactive workflow and chart, use NBME score conversion.

nbmecalc::convert_practice_score(
  source = "nbme",
  score = 240,
  step = "step2",
  form = 30
)
#> [1] 248

Multiple observations can be combined with source-quality and recency weights:

exams <- data.frame(
  source = c("nbme", "uwsa2", "free120"),
  score = c(240, 250, 76),
  form = c(30, NA, NA),
  taken_days_ago = c(21, 7, 2)
)

nbmecalc::predict_practice_scores(exams, step = "step2", days_until_exam = 10)

The mappings are independent model assumptions, not official NBME, FSMB, USMLE, UWorld, AMBOSS, or CMS conversions. Results are educational planning estimates, not guarantees or substitutes for an official score report.
